The founder’s research background brings methodological rigour and transparency to every engagement. BlackHer applies those principles appropriately to commercial and organisational data while retaining particular depth in health, environmental, epidemiological and One Health research.

Dr Mtetwa is a PhD-qualified researcher whose academic background spans environmental health, epidemiology, environmental microbiology, wastewater-based epidemiology and One Health research.
Her experience includes multidisciplinary and multi-country projects, quantitative and qualitative research, complex datasets, statistical analysis, scientific publication and postgraduate research.
Her analytical toolkit includes research data management, R/RStudio, Python, statistical analysis, research visualisation and responsible AI-assisted workflows. This expertise is applied through a collaborative process that keeps the researcher informed, protects methodological integrity and supports defensible interpretation.
